Abstract: The paper deals with the phraseological neologisms, reflecting social change and circumstances, respond to current problems in various areas of social life, international relations, economic change and more. Most new phrases occur in the language of journalism, as these media are the first to respond to any changes or political developments. That is why, as an example, we have taken two new phrases, naming phenomena that are current today, but these expressions are already penetrating the collective consciousness of the people and are used to signify a phenomenon with that meaning, but in a different context.
