Title: Incidents in flotation tailings dams and endangering of living environment

Abstract: Dangerous and hazardous flotation tailings dams can be source of endangerig of living environmnt in their normal work and also in case of damages incidents in flotation tailings dams can be caused bu natural cathastrophy in the area or malfunctions due to unreliable work. Chemical haful materials which can get to living environment at damages, can cause endangering of ecological factors (soils, water, air) and through them the whole ecosystem of the area. In his paper will be shown the incidents on the tailingss dams of the lead-zinc mine Sasa in the Republic of Macedonia.
