Abstract: Rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune diseases and autoimmune syndromes belong to a special group of diseases in human pathology that manifest clinical, serological and pathohistological signs of activation of autoreactive lymphocyte clones. Activation of the immune system in these diseases is seen in the appearance of autoantibodies to one or more autoantigens. This usually happens when the immune system loses control of part of the lymphocytes that are specifically autoreactive with the cells of their own organism of functional and tissue antigens, or receptors. Antinuclear antibodies are antibodies that are directed against the structural components of the cell nucleus.
