Title: International conference on Deconstructing realities and framing policies in the new European Borderlands

Abstract: Within the activities of the Jean Monnet Network Project on New European Borderlands - Bordeur, the Faculty of Law, University Goce Delcev in Stip, organized an international conference on Deconstructing realities and framing policies in the new European Borderlands, organized by scientific coordinators prof. Ana Nikodinovska Krstevska and prof. Olga Koshevaliska. The aim of the conference was to discuss the proliferation of new borders in the aftermath of the recent crisis that stroke the European Union and its neighborhood (the Eurozone crisis, the migration crisis, and the COVID-19 pandemic), which in various ways, were crises of those very borders. The focus was put on (re)emergent borders, and issues were addressed in relation to the pressing challenges that the EU is facing in its border control practices as well as in its self-representation as an international actor.
