Abstract: Giant epidote crystals up to 2m long have a formula and unit cell parameters.Epidote is in association with albite, microc1ine (amazonite variety), muscovite, garnet, titanite and zircon. Crystallization temperature is estimated to be about 400°C on the basis of two feldspars thermometer.
