Title: Клинички и епидемиолошки карактеристики на епидемија на дизентерија бациларис

Abstract: Hydric epidemy of Dysenteria bacillaris has been clinicaly and epidemic analysed. Totally 5870 persons have been caught by this epidemic. Mikrobiological analyses of the taken coprucultures have shown that they are about shigelosa caused by Shigela sonnei-bio type 1a. The same shigela is isolated from the taken specimens of water from the local water supply object #Kodzalica#. These microbiological researches, epidemiology questionnaire, the analized terrain inspection, of the above mentioned object refered to the knowledge that the waters of #Kodzalica# are reason for the appeared epidemic. In the clinical photograph dominated the following syptoms> stomacaches, hight temperatures, mucosus-bloody digestions, tenezmes, exhaustion, dehydration and intoxication. All people caught in the epidemic have been treated in the Medical center Stip. No one death results was been registered.
