Title: Secularism in the Church Like Modern Ethical Problem

Abstract: Nowadays we are facing a difficult spiritual question which refers to all the aspects of our life but more specifically to the very essence of Orthodoxy in our deeply tumultuous modern world. Only the spiritually blind and the completely insensitive people would not care that our Church - without taking into consideration Her successes and achievements - is threatened by an inward danger: the danger of the increasingly growing secularism. That is why we can say that this is the most secular century being the most religious one as well. Having all this in mind the question about Orthodoxy and the Church is nothing else but a question about life, an existential question. This is a question about life and death and the situation in which the world is in. It is important that everybody understands that this spiritual epidemic leads to destruction which will gradually ruin the foundations of the Church laid over the corner stone Who is Christ.
