Title: Ecological advantages of the application of horizontal curves belt conveyors in coal conveyance

Abstract: This paper elaborates the application of belt conveyors placed with horizontal curves, in order to avoid a great number of conveyance units and reloading points in conveyance of mined out ore from the open-pit mine to customers or a dump. Reducing the number of reloading points minimized the endangerment extent of the environment from the increased dustiness and raises the system reliability.
