Abstract: This article outlines the impact heavy metals can have on human health and the environment and goes on to provide an insight into the concentration of different metals in serum of exposed group-miners and nonexposed-control group using ICP-AES technique for metal monitoring and risk assessment of health of professionally exposed population.
